Privacy

Australian Sailing recognises that privacy is important and providing personal information is an act of trust. Australian Sailing takes that seriously, and will manage your Information only in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at: https://www.sailing.org.au/about/privacy-policy/

Individuals must promptly advise their Affiliated Club of any change of name, address or other relevant identification and contact details, either in writing or electronically.

Individuals acknowledge and consent to Australian Sailing’s use of their personal information for the purpose of sending electronically or by other means, newsletters from Australian Sailing.

All members of the Bendigo Yacht Club

  1. On admission or readmission to the Bendigo Yacht Club Inc. as an individual member or family grouping, individual members and family groupings agree to be bound by its Rules of AssociationBy-laws and other policy documents on its website, https://www.beyc.org.au/documents/rules-and-policies/, as amended or updated from time to time.
  2. individual members and family groupings agree that, except were required to do so by law, Bendigo Yacht Club Inc. accepts no responsibility for any damage or loss to boats, trailers, motors or any other associated equipment stored within the Club’s grounds.

Caravan site holder agreement

Caravan site holders must:

  1. Adhered to Bendigo Yacht Club, Golburn-Murray Water, Bendigo Council and Country Fire Authority Laws and By-Laws.
  2. Prior to commencing any site work, gain the explicit approval of the General Committee
  3. Ensure any heating devise and fire vessels within the caravan meets GMW CFA and Council Laws and By-Laws.
  4. Ensure the following:
    • The name and contact number of the site holder is clearly visible on the caravan
    • The caravan is towable
    • The caravan contains a fire extinguisher that is less than 10 years old
    • The caravan contains a working smoke alarm with a battery that is less than a year old
    • The caravan's electrical supply lead has been tested and tagged
    • The caravan contains a fire blanket

Caravan site holders are expected to:

  1. Keep the caravan, under the caravan and the caravan site area clean and tidy.
  2. Allow access to only one vehicle per site.
  3. Attend one Caravan Site Working Bee and one General Working Bee per year.
  4. Allow access, for inspection, to their caravan and site with at least 2 days notice.

By registering and paying for a caravan site you accept the above conditions. 

Boat storage agreement

Holders of boat storage sites must:

  1. Adhered to Bendigo Yacht Club, Golburn-Murray Water, Bendigo Council and Country Fire Authority Laws and By-Laws.
  2. Ensure their vehicles or boat does not obstruct the launching and access of another vessel.
  3. Ensure the following:
    • The name and contact number of the site holder is clearly visible on the boat
    • The boat is stores on a dolly or trailer which is towable
    • The boat is seaworthy

Holders of boat storage sites are expected to:

  1. Keep the storage site area clean and tidy including mowing of the grass.
  2. Attend two Working Bees per year.

By registering and paying for a boat storage site you accept the above conditions.
