Bendigo Yacht Club always welcomes new members and offers a flexible range of membership options, including:

• Sailing Membership - ordinary membership with full sailing, camping and voting rights (subject to your age)
• Concessional Membership - open to all holders of a Commonwealth Pension card, DVA pension or Gold card. (Seniors or Health Care cards are NOT included.)
• Family Membership - up to 2 adults and all dependent children under 21 years of age in the one family. All rights as a sailing membership as above.
• Social membership - full access to club facilities and voting rights but no sailing, boat storage, caravan or camping rights.
• Special Membership - Sailability participant & volunteer, Absentee, Honorary or Life Member etc

You can become a member as an individual or as part of a family grouping. The schedule of annual fees is set at the AGM each each year to be as affordable as possible while still covering expenses. There is no one-off joining fee.

Our membership year runs from 01 August to 31 July.  Renew or join before 31 August for the 10% off earlybird rate.

New membership applications are subject to the Rules and By-Laws of the Club and require ratification by the General Committee.

Please note: Potential new members may be able to package membership with sail training for a discounted rate in their first year. Contact the Secretary at info@beyc.org.au for details.

If you have been a member of a sailing club anywhere in Australia over the past few years, your existing Australian Sailing Number is needed to become a member of ther Bendigo Yacht Club.          Can't remember your Australian Sailing Number? Click here

Instructions for renewal of membership for existing members

Existing members will be sent an email before 1st August each year to enable them to renew their membership. An invoice will be atttached to this email.

Our membership year runs from 01 August to 31 July.  Renew before 31 August for the 10% off earlybird rate.
